How can I bulk convert png to jpg on Windows 11 with the Photos app?
- Sep 06, 2024
No, the Photos app on Windows 11 does not support batch conversion of images. It only allows you to convert one image at a time. For batch PNG to JPG conversion, you can use other tools instead.
I work in design and often need to convert different image formats. I have been using Any2Pic (https://www.uumeo.com/bulk-png-to-jpg) for two years and it is pretty good overall! I recommend you to try it!
Using the Photos App to convert PNG to JPG on Windows 11 is also a good option, the whole conversion process is also very simple and does not require any experience:
- If your image is already in the Photos app (which it probably is if you double-click on a PNG), just open the image.
- Click the three dots (menu) at the top-right corner and look for the "Save As" option. You can then select JPG from the file types listed.
- Give it a name and choose your save location. Done and done!
If you want an easier way to do this or have a bunch of files to convert, i recommend you to try online PNG to JPG converter software, I have a lot of friends have tried this method, very satisfied. operation is as follows:
- Websites like Zamzer will do the trick. Just Google "PNG to JPG converter."
- Follow the site's instructions to upload your PNG.
- Hit that convert button, and once it's done, download your new JPG. Just be mindful of any privacy concerns—don't upload stuff that's super sensitive!
