Have any of you had this issue before? How did you fix it?
I will boot it from steam on my monitor, and either steam will become blue and my computer will crash, or my monitor (which is connected by HDMI) will say it’s out of range. Then it will show the error in picture 1. Is this a common thing for games of this size (40.1 GB?)? I’ve gone through and validated the files and now am looking at drivers for my graphics card. For reference I am using a gaming laptop (I know). I don’t know what year but it is an Alienware and is from before 2020. I am running windows 11. I have already tried uninstalling and redownloading the game through Steam, is there a better way to go about this?
Update: I updated drivers on my gpu. My monitor quit again so I disconnected it (1 purchased it new not even a year ago so I don't think it's a monitor issue). I got this error message (picture 2)
I ran RDR2 and Peak (both were successful), I haven't tried other DMC games yet, but could it be a case of a bad gpu?

Monitor temperatures during gameplay using tools like HWMonitor or MSI Afterburner.
If temperatures are excessively high, thermal throttling or shutdowns can occur.
Tip: Clean your laptop’s vents, ensure proper airflow, and consider undervolting or reducing GPU load temporarily.
