Friend's computer crashes when opening and closing games ?

Watching on a discord livestream every time he opens games or sometime not even doing anything, his computer shuts off without warning. He's tried putting a new PSU in and we watched coretemp/gpu temp and they are not high. I've looked at the crash dump from Windows and I can find ntkrnlmp.exe as the issue but i can't find anything else.

Outdated or incompatible graphics, sound, or chipset drivers often cause kernel crashes, especially during resource-intensive tasks like gaming.

First, update your graphics card and processor drivers, disable your antivirus software and accelerator,
and finally run the following commands in Administrator CMD:

    sfc /scannow
    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
