Folder suddenly showing onedrive icon
Hi all this is weird Last night when I turned off my lap top there was no cloud symbol next to my folders. However when I turned it on I had to go through We will now finish setting up your computer....
It sounds like OneDrive got re-enabled automatically when you restarted your laptop. Even if your files aren’t synced, the cloud icon can appear.
You can try:
- -Right-click the folder - Settings - Unlink this PC or Stop syncing.
- Check OneDrive in Settings Accounts → make sure your account isn’t signed in.
- Restart File Explorer after changes.
This should remove the cloud icon from folders that aren’t actually syncing.
