File Size vs Size on Disk Info
Why would a JPG file from 24 years ago show that the Size is 365KB but Size on Disk shows 128Mb. How can I see what makes up all that empty space? Is there any negative impact from a volume full of files like this?

First, use a hexadecimal editor such as WinHex or HxD to check the JPG file structure for any abnormal areas, then check the storage partition format size, and run “chkdsk Z: /f” as an administrator to repair disk errors.
