File properties not copied

Why I receive the following message when copying files to memory sticks in Windows 11:

"The file has properties that can't be copied to the new location".

This happened even recently, when copying an executable .exe file.  I was actually copying two .exe files, developed by the same company.   My guess was that the files would have the same properties, but one file caused the message mentioned above to display, the other file did not.  I checked the properties of both files and the properties seemed to be pretty much the same.

Is there a way to get Windows 11 to display the properties that cannot be copied?  Also, will the copied file work correctly, even if the some of the properties were not copied?
