Explorer.exe keeps saying ''Not Responding''

Hello, after closing the lid of my laptop (Asus ROG Strix G17), everything seemed fine. When I went to use my laptop, my entire screen was black with only the cursor showing. I have gotten it to a point where I can boot into Windows 11, but explorer.exe occasionally says ''not responding'' in task manager.

I have already tried SFC and DISM scans, both scans did not fix the issue, I have also reinstalled the Nvidia drivers.

I am often getting the event 10016 and event 17 with the device name: ''PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_14BA&SUBSYS_1CB21043&REV_00'' (PCI Express?).

Another thing to note is that my laptop did not want to shutdown (windows key, power, shutdown/restart), and I had to hold the power button to shutdown.

What can I do to keep explorer.exe running and my computer functioning properly? Thank you.

Try this: download explorer from your version of Windows on your phone or USB from other computer, then boot to the recovery and replace the explorer app in the C:\Windows with the one on the USB.
