Does anyone know how Print queues are sorted under Printers & Scanners?

Does anyone know how Print queues are sorted in Settings > Printers & Scanners?  When I click Add Device, the print queues appear to group by print server, but the server groups aren't alphabetical, and neither are the queues in each of the server groups. This is so bizarre, there has to be a logical sort pattern, doesn't there??

You can manually drag and drop the printer icons to reorder them, or you can modify the priority through the registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\Device.

Thank you for the reply, latefave. What version of Windows are you using?  Our printer manager said that he has no ability to change the order of either currently connected printers or of the printers that could be added. Even setting a queue as the default does not move it to the top. He's wondering if you are using a modified interface?

What we would like to do is pin our PaperCut FollowMe Print Queues to the top of the Win 11 printers list so our users can easily find them when they click Add Device.
