Data Transfer Issue with Toshiba Portable SSD on HP Desktop

I have a Toshiba T7 2TB portable SSD connected via the USB 3.1 Gen 2, USB-C port on my HP ProDesk 400 G6 Desktop Mini PC. However, the data transfer speeds are significantly lower than the advertised 1050 MB/s.
