computer occasionally unable to discover home wifi network

Sometimes when I wake up my computer, it is suddenly unable to detect my house's wifi, but it can still find other nearby networks. Every other device in my house is fine and can connect to my internet, but it's just my computer which can't find it at all. Every time it does this I just have to restart the router, but it's really annoying, and I was wondering if anyone has a fix?
