My advice is not to use the online flv to mp4 converter if the video size is big or you need to convert dozens of flv videos.
First and foremost, privacy and security concerns are significant when uploading files to online services. Many video files may contain sensitive or personal content, and when you upload these files to a third-party website, you risk exposing your data to potential breaches. Even if the website claims to have strong privacy policies, there's always the chance that your data could be misused or stored without your consent.
Another issue with online converters is the quality and reliability of the conversion process. Many online services have limitations on file sizes and formats, which can lead to compressed or degraded quality in the final output. Furthermore, these tools often rely on varying internet speeds, which can result in incomplete or failed uploads and conversions, particularly for larger files. This inconsistency can be frustrating if you need a high-quality outcome or are working on a tight deadline.
Additionally, online flv to mp4 converters can be laden with ads and may prompt you to download additional software or sign up for subscriptions for premium features. This can not only result in a cluttered user experience but also expose your system to potentially unwanted programs or malware. You may end up spending more time navigating these downsides rather than efficiently converting your video files.
For these reasons, using offline software solutions is often a safer and more reliable option for converting FLV files to MP4.
