If you have a Microsoft account (like Outlook.com, Hotmail, or Live), the free Outlook mobile app offers a simple, wireless way to transfer iPhone contacts to computer without iCloud. This method continuously keeps your contacts updated between your iPhone and Outlook on your PC.
How to export contacts from iPhone to computer via Outlook
- On your iPhone, download and open the official Microsoft Outlook app from the App Store (if not already installed).
- Sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Enable contact syncing in the app settings:
- Tap your profile icon or Home icon at the top-left.
- Go to the Settings (gear icon).
- Tap on your email account under Mail Accounts.
- Toggle the Save Contacts setting to ON.
- On your PC, open Outlook and sign in with the same Microsoft account. Your iPhone contacts will automatically sync and appear in the People section.
Important Note: This method works best if you are willing to save your iPhone contacts to your Microsoft account. If your contacts are stored locally on your iPhone or on another service like iCloud, you will need to move them first.
