Can I delete Windows 11 24H2 update notice?
I don't want to install Windows 11 24H2 and plan to stick with 23H2 until the bugs are fixed in 24H2. How can I disable the update notice?
If you want to stay on 23H2, you need to set it as target version in Group Policy.
Upgrading to 24H2 is recommended though.
Please bear in mind that 24H2 is currently incompatible with several anti-cheat software that is needed to play games in Windows. This is due to the removed settings for memory-integrity or core-isolation (if I remember correctly) in 24H2.
So until that it fixed - some games are just not playable on 24H2.
...which is why I still run 23H2. Because the game I spend several hours each week on use a anti-cheat that bricks the game on a 24H2. 😪
