(Bug #4919194: Unable to add a device to a Microsoft account).

Hello, i have been patienty waiting for about 5 weeks now for this bug to be addressed. I have not been able to register my new pc under accounts.microsoft.com. It is not detected automatically as there is no serial number in BIOS (it says „system serial number“)

Registering a device manually with the motherboard’s SN brings up an error.

Support has been contacted 4 or 5 times. Have been told each time that its a known bug and i should to try re-registering after 48 hours which in retrospect seems wildly optimistic considering 4 or 5 weeks have now passed.
