Bluetooth earbuds paired but not usable as audio output

Hi,

I've recently upgrade to windows 11, I was using my earbuds (redmi buds 3 pro) fine since I made the transition from win 10. Few days ago I put my laptop to sleep and when I came back hours later, my earbuds paired but they were not showing as audio output. The play/pause controls are working but not the audio.

I've tried audio and Bluetooth troubleshoot several times without success.

I've tried to reset the buds and paire them as a new device without success.

The buds work as expected on other computers but not on mine.

Is there a solution available ?

I'm using :

Windows 11 version 21H2

OS build 22000.739

I have basically the same issue, the difference is that in windows 11 only the playback part of the device works. When I go to Microsoft teams or any other communications app that uses the "headset" function it just simply doesn't work. So either Microsoft made a mistake during the retro-compatibility part or Xiaomi hasn't released new drivers for windows 11 (maybe both)

    Hi Houro4,

I have the same problem with my windows 11 PC and my earbuds (Redmi buds 3). They are connected but not available as audio output. Did you manage to solve this issue? I tried to update my computer as adviced without success.

    Thank you.

Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates.
Open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
Try visit your device's manufacturer website and download and install the latest Bluetooth driver.
