How It Works if as Spotify to MP3 downloader:

GroveGrab CLI uses the Spot DL library internally. It retrieves metadata from the official Spotify API but actually fetches the audio from YouTube and makes it to the desired format using FF mpeg. So even though the audio ultimately comes from YouTube, the tool still works effectively.

After installation and configuration, you can run the following command directly:

grovegrab dl "spotify_url" --format mp3 --quality 320k

According to the official project documentation, its default output format is MP3, with a default bitrate of 320kbps, which is the highest quality option available.
