Audio issue
1. No sound at all
Right-click on the volume icon > open "Sound Settings"
2. Check:
if the output device is selected correctly
Volume is not muted (including individual application volume)
Try changing the default device (e.g. cut back to speakers from HDMI)
3. Intermittent/stuttering sound
Device Manager > Audio Input/Output
Right-click on the sound card driver > update the driver
Power Options > Disable USB selective pause
4. Invalid Microphone
Privacy Settings > Microphone Access Permissions Application Permissions > Ensure the relevant application has access to the microphone 3. Advanced Fixes Reset Audio Service: Administrator CMD Run: cmd copy net stop Audiosrv net start Audiosrv > Microphone Access
Application Permissions > Ensure relevant applications have microphone access
5. Advanced Fixes
Reset Audio Service:
Run Administrator CMD:
cmd
net stop Audiosrv
net start Audiosrv
6. Reinstall Audio Driver:
Device Manager > Uninstall the sound card device (check "Remove Driver")
Automatically re-install the driver after restarting.
