At Win 11 boot-up, news pop-ups have suddenly began appearing
At win 10 boot-up, news pop-ups have suddenly began appearing on the screen, before I even sign on; how to disable?

This directly targets the feature displaying the news cards:
Open Settings (Win + i).
Go to Personalization > Lock screen.
Under Background, change the dropdown menu from Windows Spotlight to Picture or Slideshow .
Crucially, scroll down and uncheck the box labeled "Get fun facts, tips, tricks, and more on your lock screen" .
Look for the section "Choose an app to show detailed status" and set it to "None" .
