At my wit's end trying to connect Scrypted to Apple HomeKit, please help me.

Using Gemini, yesterday I added my cameras to Scrypted (Windows 11, PowerShell, Mullvad VPN (but I'm using it on Edge which is in Split Tunnel). They're showing there, everything is fine.

Then I added the Homekit plugin so that I can check out my cameras from my Apple TV, and they just refuse to connect, no matter what I do.

I have changed the Ciao/Bonjour bit, I have remove Encryption, changed H.265 to H.264, and yet I'm getting the same errors over and over again.

"listen loop connection failed, restarting listener. read ECONNRESET" (This is PowerShell when Scrypted is running.)

"Make sure your accessory is turned on and connected to the router with an Ethernet Cable"

"Accessory not found"

Please help me, I think I'm just missing one piece off the puzzle.

    Since you're using Mullvad VPN on Edge with split tunneling, ensure that Bonjour/mDNS traffic is properly routed. Bonjour relies on multicast traffic, which VPN split tunneling can sometimes block or not forward correctly.
