The error you are seeing—msedgewebview2.exe crashing with exception code 0xc0000005—is a memory access violation. This means an application tried to write to a memory location it wasn't allowed to access . Since this started immediately after an Office 2024 update, the most likely culprit is a compatibility issue between the new Office version and the Edge WebView2 runtime that many modern applications (including Office components) use to display web-based content.
