Apple Airpods Bluetooth issue on Windows 11

I've just upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and got some strange issue on Bluetooth audio. The volume is seem softer than Windows 10 that I must turn the volume to Maximum but it is still too so...

This worked for me:
Go to start ->Run ->MMSYS.CPL
select Playback tab ->then select the airpods pro (highlight) ->and click properties

In the 'headphones' properties dialog box --> select Enhancement tab --> select Loudness Equalization (tick mark)
Now click Apply and OK.

try to disable mic input option in sound

what really fixes it though is..

Search -> Device Manager -> click on both "audio inputs and outputs" as well as "Sound. video, and game controllers" and disable each instance of the "hands-free" versio0n. if you do not see hands free version, try re-pairing or resetting your airpods and check again.

After disabling, restart the pc and reconnect headphones, should work!!

spars002 It worked, because we turn off the input device which is a problem here. This is not a solution, but a workaround. I think it is not possible to use Airpods Max with built-in microphone without sound quality glitch. It is some internal mechanism that decreses quality for phone calls for some reason. The solution would be force Apple to update the headphones and fix this issue...
