Anyway to make the Win+p combination a shortcut to the taskbar
Hello, I connected the second monitor to my computer, but I don't use the second monitor very actively, so it usually remains off.
But when I need to use it, I turn on the second monitor from the settings with win+p. How can I add this combination as a shortcut to the taskbar instead of pressing this key every time?
1. Use PowerToys (official Microsoft tools)
Install PowerToys from the Microsoft Store
Open the app → select 'Keyboard Manager' on the left side
Click on 'Remap Shortcuts' → 'Add'
2. Setup:
Original shortcut: Win + P
New action: Select 'Open Task View' or 'Switch to Taskbar'.
Click “OK” to take effect immediately
3. Through the system comes with shortcuts (indirect realization)
Temporary Alternative
Press Win + T → use arrow keys to select taskbar icon (Enter to open)
Press Win → Use arrow keys to navigate to the taskbar.
4. Modify system settings (basic version)
Right-click Taskbar → “Taskbar Settings
Enable “Use Taskbar Shortcuts” (available in some versions)
Try to associate Win + P in the “Shortcuts” settings.
5. Use third-party tools
WinHotKey
Click “Add” after installation
Select “Windows Key + P”.
Set the action to “Focus Taskbar”.

Make a new shortcut and point it to displayswitch.exe then drag it to the taskbar
