Wish: Possibility to rename Bluetooth devices

I have several Bluetooth devices of the same type -- one set at home and one set at office. In Windows, it's not easy to guess which one is which. It would be nice to let us rename (ie give a nicknam...

I was referring to Windows 10.
Control Panel ( Open with the key combination [Windows] + [R]. Enter "control" there and confirm with "OK" or [Enter])
> Devices and Printers
> select device
> right mouse button
> Properties
> Bluetooth
> Customize name or .Change
> OK

It seems that the steps I provided may not work for your specific device or version of Windows 10. Some Bluetooth devices may not have the option to be renamed through the Windows settings.
However, you may be able to rename your Bluetooth device through its manufacturer’s software or app. You can check the device’s documentation or the manufacturer’s website for more information on how to do this.

    Did it with Windows 10 22H2. I activated Bluetooth on my cell phone and did the same as you and changed the name of the device. I have already mentioned that it is not possible on all devices. Some devices do not have a device manufacturer option. Generally, you have to rely on third-party software or utilities. These tools provide additional functionalities beyond the native capabilities of Windows.
