In some cases, other drivers (especially NVIDIA graphics drivers) can cause high DPC latency, interrupting the audio stream. Run the free tool LatencyMon to identify which driver is causing delays. In some cases, disabling Wi-Fi or Ethernet can help, as network drivers are a common source of high latency.
