I reviewed the link you posted. However, the actual problem is retrieving printer drivers from Windows update stopped working on 12-23-2022 and is still not working. This is a Microsoft problem that needs to be acknowledged and resolved. Talking about the problem isn't going to fix it. Microsoft needs acknowledge the problem, resolve the problem, and be transparent throughout the process. So far, they have done nothing.

To make a fix, diagnostic data is needed (you can help everyone if you enable optional diagnostic data that will be automatically passed to Microsoft -> Settings -> privacy settings)
Sometimes it's the Defender firewall settings that cause the error.

It's not the Defender firewall causing the error. Each PC I've tested with has Defender firewall "off". I've tested it both ways, there is no difference.
Previously I believed Microsoft engineers monitored this forum. After this experience and reading your comments, I don't believe that is true.
Thank you very much for providing the link. I will follow those instructions to see what happens. From my testing, the issue will be easy to reproduce.
