Windows was unable to get a list of devices from Windows Update.
This scenario has caused me a real problem. I still do not have a resolution. Although I shouldn't be surprised, I'm concerned that not a single Microsoft badged person has responded to this issue. JesseR3501
- I'm dealing with 2 different models of an HP printer, M553 and M608. I have visited the HP website and downloaded every version for the M553 and M608. Each one of them fail when I attempt to load the HP driver. It would be so much easier if Microsoft would resolve the printer driver download of Windows Update which stopped working after 12-23-2022.

- I reviewed the link you posted. However, the actual problem is retrieving printer drivers from Windows update stopped working on 12-23-2022 and is still not working. This is a Microsoft problem that needs to be acknowledged and resolved. Talking about the problem isn't going to fix it. Microsoft needs acknowledge the problem, resolve the problem, and be transparent throughout the process. So far, they have done nothing.
Please is the best way to reach Microsoft engineers.

To make a fix, diagnostic data is needed (you can help everyone if you enable optional diagnostic data that will be automatically passed to Microsoft -> Settings -> privacy settings)
Sometimes it's the Defender firewall settings that cause the error.
