Windows Photo Viewer vs Arrow-Keys

With the new Windows Photo Viewer and the Windows Photo Viewer Legacy, you cannot use the arrow keys to switch between the images in a folder in many situations (this worked fine with the old Windows 7 Photo Viewer).

I couldn't find a real rule as to when this is the case, most of the time it doesn't work on server shares with drive letters.

This is very annoying for users because it is a simple feature that suddenly no longer works properly.

It would be nice if the Microsoft developers finally took a good look at this.
