Windows explorer stop working correctly after the last updates
- Nov 20, 2024
not sure if it will help but try running SFC /scannow
You can run the SFC /scannow command from any console, including the command prompt, PowerShell, or Windows Terminal. Open one of these as Admin and type or past that command and press enter, then wait for it to finish.
And I believe, if it reports problems, run the following command:
DISsM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
I agree with antspants. Try running the tools.
If you have any thrid party app that alters the GUI, uninstall it. Also see if the problem exists in clean boot. If it doesn't happen in a clean boot, you have some software conflicting with Windows. If none of that helps, run a repair install.
