Windows 11 indexing very slow
I am experiencing significant issues with the indexing speed on my Windows 11 system. Despite following the usual optimization steps, such as adjusting my indexing options and excluding large file types, the indexing process remains exceptionally slow. This has affected my ability to quickly search for files and documents, making it frustrating to locate important information on my computer.

If indexing is persistently slow and you don’t rely on it much, consider turning off the Windows Search service altogether. You can do this by searching for Services in the Start menu, finding Windows Search, and setting it to Disabled. Be aware that this will mean you won’t have the convenience of fast file searching, though.
