Windows 11 Has Slowed Down in Boot Time
Hello, it's been a while since we last chatted!
I recently performed a clean reinstall of Windows 11 on my computer. However, I'm facing an unexpected issue where the booting process is unusually slow. This is quite different from my previous experiences. I've ensured that the BIOS settings are all set correctly with secure boot enabled, CSM turned off, and UEFI in use. Additionally, I have installed all available updates.
My system disk is labeled as disk 4.
If you have any suggestions or insights, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hi BreckenDavila,
Here is what I can suggest to help you with your issue:
- Disabling programs that launch at startup. You can do this in Task Manager.
- You can check the disk performance by command prompt as an administrator and running the following command:
wmic diskdrive get status
- Make sure all of your drivers are up-to-date.
- Run a scan using Windows Defender to make sure there are no infections.
- You can check the health of a disk by using any disk monitoring software available.
Hope this helps! -@Jsquared17
