Windows 11 goes to sleep even if a fileshare is in use

Windows 11 goes to sleep even if a fileshare is in use.
Is there an easy fix for that, to restore the behavior of Windows 10 in this regard?

If not, is a plain Windows Server able to host a SMB-Share and can go to sleep? But again, not while the SMB-Share is in use.

Yeah, Windows 11 tends to ignore active SMB sessions for sleep prevention — unlike Windows 10. There’s no simple fix, but you can use a small tool like Caffeinated or a PowerShell script to keep it awake while shares are active; Windows Server doesn’t sleep during active SMB use either.

Did you update both Bios & All drivers from that laptop makers support site and not win update?

In win Update settings turn off auto update of Optional updates, whch includes drivers

Then in sleep setting set to balanced
