Windows 10 won't complete Update process
My Settings indicate that Update 22H2 is installed, but it won't complete the Update process. It says (very briefly) that it wants to install an HP driver for my printer, then displays the fault code...
Yeah, a clean boot can help, but in this case it’s more likely Windows Update is stuck trying to install an old HP driver that no longer exists.
Before doing a clean boot, try removing any leftover HP printer entries from Device Manager (including hidden devices) and clear the update cache, often fixes this faster 👍
