Hi,   What is required (registry edit etc.) so that Windows 10 version 1803 clients can join a single label domain? Same new model of ThinkPad laptops, Windows 10 version 1709 systems can join sing...

    I had similar issues and found an old reference https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/300684/deployment-and-operation-of-active-directory-domains-that-are-configur

     

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters

    Add DWORD AllowSingleLabelDnsDomain = 1

     

    This resolved issue.

This has worked for me.

 

Microsoft does not recommend single label domains, but mine has been like this a long time and don't want to change.

Thanks for discussing this topic. I have been tried to set up and install window 10 but I got error message pop up and I was unable to fix that issues. and it quite frustrating. then I decided to take assistance from
