Windows 10: Taskbar Won't Auto-Hide in Full-Screen Video/Game Mode
When watching videos or playing games in full-screen mode, the taskbar remains visible at the bottom of the screen and won't auto-hide. I've tried various solutions, but the problem persists. I want the taskbar to stay visible when using the app in windowed mode or during regular use, but I want it to auto-hide when I switch to full-screen mode. Please help.

In the taskbar settings, enable Automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode, and check whether Show the game bar in full-screen mode is turned off under Settings > Gaming > Game Bar.
Hi Komondor2240, this is often caused by an app demanding attention, a stuck notification, or Explorer not refreshing correctly. Try clearing pending notifications, closing tray apps one by one, and restarting Windows Explorer from Task Manager. If it only happens in certain games or video apps, check whether that app is running borderless windowed mode instead of true full screen.
