Windows 10 SSH not accepting password

I’ve just starting with SSH and trying to connect to my webhost to edit the sites, spoken to them and have been granted access.
Problem is that I can connect to the server but it will not accept the password.
It will accept characters until I get to the password and the only key it recognizes is the enter key.

    First, verify the SSH server is running:

    # Check if SSH server service is running
Get-Service sshd

# Start SSH server if not running
Start-Service sshd

# Set to start automatically
Set-Service sshd -StartupType Automatic
