"Here are several steps to optimize your Windows 10 Pro startup and reduce unwanted sync/notifications:
    Managing Startup Programs:

Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager
    Click the "Startup" tab
Disable programs you don't need at startup (look for "High" impact items first)
Common safe-to-disable items: Spotify, Adobe updaters, gaming software

    Reducing Sync and Privacy Settings:

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security
Review each category (Camera, Microphone, Location, etc.)
Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings - turn off what you don't need
Settings > Privacy > General - disable advertising ID and tracking

    Stopping Pop-ups and Ads:

Check your browser for unwanted extensions
    Run Windows Defender full scan
    Consider running Malwarebytes (free version)
Settings > System > Notifications - disable promotional notifications

    Browser Sync Issues:

In Edge: Settings > Profiles > Sync - customize what syncs
Consider using a different browser if you prefer less integration

    Services Optimization:

    Type 'services.msc' in Start menu
Research before disabling, but consider stopping unused services like Fax, Windows Search (if you don't use it)

Start with startup programs and privacy settings - these usually provide the biggest immediate improvement."

Tip: Create a system restore point before making changes, so you can revert if needed.

The pop-ups during movies especially suggest possible adware - definitely run a security scan first."
