Windows 10 Lean/CloudE - media creation tool for netbook
TLDR: Media creation tool to offer Windows Lean in list - where can it be obtained? Netbook with "Windows 10 Lean supplied needs reinstall - can I replace with Windows 10 Home using media created with 'today's' version of Windows 10?
I have come across a netbook with "Windows 10 Lean" reportedly installed on it at purchase. The user has (re)installed a full home version of Windows 10 on it and now reported that it has "stopped working... reporting out of space..." etc. Sounds quite plausible so I thought best action was simply to reinstall from USB media - but user did not create recovery media! My latest media creation for Windows x64 (created using https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 ) does not show "Windows Lean" in its list though - despite many bing image search results clearly showing a "Windows 10 lean x64" option on the splash screen?
Plenty of bing search results describing the launch etc but nothing about what became of it, I wonder if it was discontinued again, has changed into something else. What is current recommend Windows 10 OS for a very low spec netbook (I'm waiting for user to send actual specification of hardware)?
I've read https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/windows-10-specifications and the spec requirements look quite low so I'm wondering if 'today's' OS version can be used as is.
- I can't find any meaningful info about it on Microsoft websites, when I search about it all I get is articles from 3rd party websites that belong to 2018.
There is however Windows 10 S
