windows 10 home - turn off auto-restarts
What I want for personal reasons is under no circumstance for the computer to restart itself when I'm away. I did a bunch of things ChatGPT recommended like disable auto updates and a bunch of stuff ...
- Open Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Click Change active hours and set your active hours to cover when you're usually using the computer.
- Under Advanced options, select Notify to schedule restart (if available). This will prevent forced reboots without your approval.
