What is the Difference Between Windows 10 Global Editions And China Government Edition? Which One Is Better? And How To Download Windows 10 China Government Edition?
There are many differences between these:
Windows 10 Global (e.g. Home/Pro/Enterprise) supports Global languages but Windows 10 China Government Edition supports Mandarin Chinese only, region locked. OneDrive / Microsoft Cloud is removed, no Microsoft Store, Minimal or no telemetry to meet government demands, uses Chinese-approved encryption standards (unlike BitLocker), Entra ID / Azure AD Support replaced with local directory services, more localized control over system updates in Win 10 China Govt Ed.
For consumers and general users → Global Edition is better. For Chinese government use, only the China Government Edition is officially allowed.
It is not publicly available for download like standard Windows ISOs.
