Windows 10 1 more feature
I have been trying to download a feature update for windows 10 to 22H2 for more than a week. It consistently gets to 61% installed and hangs. Here are the specs on the laptop,
Lenovo i5-4210U @172ghz 2.40ghz
8GB ram
Windows 10 pro
Current build:
Version 22H2 (OS build 19045.3448)
I have run the windows update troubleshooter, the first time it found problem and fixed it but the problem still remained.
I have run the troubleshooter 2 more times and both times it found no problems.
I have tried resetting windows update components,
net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptSvc
net stop bits
net stop msiserver
Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old
net start wuauserv
net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver
I have even tried a forced shutdown with the power button and the power cable disconnected holding the power button for a minute.
Once again the update would start, download, and install up to 61%.
I did try again last night it started the update, downloaded the update, and it started installing, at about 7:15PM it was at 61%. I fell asleep around 10 still at 61%. I woke at 2AM and it was still at 61%. I shutdown and now I am here. I am really getting tire of Microsoft. I waited 3 years after windows 10 came out and finally decided since this was suppose to be THE LAST WINDOWS YOU WOULD NEED. Now windows 11 and I need new hardware, I don't think so. I just want to get the ESU and decide where I go from here.
Anything you can suggest would be much appreciated.

Hey guys. Windows 10 reached the end of support yesterday on October 15, 2025. It is no longer secure so I would suggest using Windows 11.
Hello,
I recommend you to upgrade to Windows 10 Version 22H2 via ISO file.
Refer this step-by-step guide:

Once upgraded, you need to make sure most recent updates are installed. Then you can enroll into ESU and continue receiving updates for another year.
Let us know if this helps!
