Win 10 File Explorer Blues. What should i do?
My Windows 10 File Explorer keeps freezing and crashing, and for the second time now a Windows Update has failed to install on my PC. Could the failed updates be causing these File Explorer issues, and what should I do to fix both problems at once?

Hi Amanasn, yes, failed updates and File Explorer crashes can be related, especially if shell components or system files are half-updated. Start with DISM and SFC, then check Windows Update history for the exact failed update code. If Explorer still freezes, test in a clean boot and disable third-party shell extensions, because cloud drive tools, archive tools, and context-menu apps are common causes.
