Why my victus laptop won't update to windows 11 in 2026?

Pre-upgrade preparations

  • Back up important files to an external hard drive.
  • Connect to a power source.
  • Ensure network connectivity.

  1. Navigate to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters and run the Windows Update troubleshooter.

  2. Press Win+R, enter services.msc, locate the Windows Update service, and stop it.

  3. Open File Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download, and delete all contents within the folder.
