Why does my printer work on my phone but not Windows?
Because the printer works from both phones, its wireless connection and printing hardware are probably functioning; the failure is likely limited to Windows discovery, its driver, queue, or selected port. Power-cycle the printer, then open Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, remove duplicate or offline entries, and add the printer again. If discovery fails, choose the manual-add option and add it by its IP address, available from the printer’s network-status page. Install the latest Windows driver for the exact model, then print a Windows test page. If jobs remain queued, cancel them and restart the Print Spooler service before testing again. Temporarily disconnect any VPN and confirm the PC is on the same network segment, not a guest network. If Windows still cannot print, report whether the test page fails, the displayed printer status, and any error code; those details distinguish driver, port, and spooler failures.
