Why does my computer take a long time to start up?
My computer takes an unusually long time to start up, sometimes taking several minutes before the desktop and applications become fully accessible. I want to understand what factors could be causing this slow boot process and what steps I can take to identify and fix the underlying issues to improve startup speed.

A slow startup is often caused by a few common culprits, like too many apps launching at once, a cluttered hard drive, or outdated system files. You can definitely track down and fix most of these issues with some systematic checks.
Hi Xioun, start with Task Manager under Startup apps and disable anything nonessential, then check Reliability Monitor for drivers or services failing at boot. If the PC has a hard drive, disk health and free space matter a lot. Event Viewer under Diagnostics-Performance can also show which service or driver is delaying startup.
