Why am I getting this "Let's finish setting up your device" blue screen?
- Oct 07, 2020
Hello Rod-F,
Go to Settings > System > Notifications & actions and uncheck Suggest ways I can finish setting up my device to get the most out of Windows option. This should turn off that screen.
If that doesn't works, try the registry based Method 2 mentioned here:

To help you more on this, here's the video fix:Hope this helps!

Unfortunately they know businesses/enterprise aren't going to move away from MS and that is a huge market. The threat to go to MacOS, Linux, etc isn't real except maybe for home / SOHO users.
I'd settle for some testing of updates at this point because that clearly isn't happening to the level it should. Breaking Hyper-V on servers with an update is almost impressive if it weren't so awful.
I respectfully disagree. Huge swathes of organizations have moved away from Windows to Linux based OS. and saved billions of dollars collectively in doing so. Microsoft continue to help push and maintain the belief that "it's just too difficult" (It's as easy to install as Windows - in fact easier for some distros) or "it's not safe" (Linux is a LOT safer than Windows, and always has been - hence why the vast majority of servers underpinning the Internet use it). Sadly, Microsoft's domination is compounded by people continuing to peddle the attitude that a switch to computer systems that are built by people for people, not computer systems built by people for shareholders, is impossible. It is the continuous seeding of this attitude that makes it improbable, and no other reason. It is your choice to believe what you believe, and I understand where you're coming from, but I believe it is (and has been for the last few years) this attitude that has allowed organizations like Microsoft to dictate the future use of computing power. If they, or Facebook, or Google weren't the driving force behind the decimation of anybody with technology to challenge them, and were focused on opening up the full potential of all that computing power to people, then I'd be behind them. But they're not... they're businesses, and a business's only goal is to make money... whether that be through the patronage of its customers, or in more recent times, through the patronage of its shareholders. When it was the former, customers had the power to direct businesses in ways that worked for them, the customer, but now the customer has been relegated to last place in the hierarchy and shareholders rule instead, this will only ever work to the detriment of the majority of humans. That's what monopolies do. We could argue that Microsoft aren't a monopoly because Apple and because Google... but regards PC operating systems, Microsoft are a monopoly. Monopolies always do damage not just to people, but also to the societies in which they are allowed to exist. Any economist (not employed by Microsoft et al) will tell you the same thing. So, what I believe we should be doing, is instead of offering defeatism, we should be working hard to get people onto systems built for people, by people. The fate of the human race as we know it is literally what is at stake.
