Here’s the step-by-step to download Windows Media Creation tool for Windows 10 computer:
- Hit Up the Microsoft Website: Open your browser and head over to the official Microsoft website. Just type in "Windows 10 download" and you should find the page that talks about the Media Creation Tool. It’s usually right at the top on Google.
Find the Media Creation Tool: On the Windows 10 download page, scroll down a bit until you see a section that says something like “Create Windows 10 installation media.” Below that, there’s a button that says “Download tool now.” Give that bad boy a click! - Run the Tool: Once the download completes, go to your Downloads folder (or wherever your downloaded files go) and double-click the file you just got. This will launch the tool. You might need to give it admin permissions—just hit "Yes" if prompted.
- Choose Your Option: After it's loaded, you'll see a prompt asking you if you want to upgrade this PC or create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO). Since you’re looking to create a bootable USB or an ISO, select the second option and hit “Next.”
- Select Your Language and Edition: You can choose the language, edition, and architecture (32-bit or 64-bit) based on what you need. Just make sure you’ve got a compatible USB stick handy (8GB or more is the usual).
- Create the USB or ISO: Follow the prompts to either create a bootable USB flash drive or save an ISO file to your computer. If you’re going for the USB option, just select your USB drive from the list and click “Next.” The tool will do its thing and before you know it, you'll have a Windows 10 installation USB ready to rock!
