Where do I find Windows 10 Pro product key?
Hi community,
I made a completely reinstall of Windows 10 Pro on his old PC. After installation, Windows 10 Pro asks to activate Windows 10 and there is a watermark appearing on the desktop all the times. I bought the key from someone and no way to find the person now.
My question is that where do I find Windows 10 pro product key? Is the product key bound to the motherboard? Much appreciated if you could help me retrieve Windows 10 product key without paying again.

Smanthanp FindingWindows 10 product key through the Settings app is straightforward, but note that this method might not always display the product key directly, especially if Windows is activated through a digital license.
To find Windows 10 Pro product key in settings, click on Update & Security under the settings page. In the left pane, select Activation. This will show you the activation status of your Windows 10 installation. Below the activation status, you may also see the Product ID, which is different from the actual product key but could be useful for other support inquiries.
- Is it an OEM key or retail key? This makes a huge difference. OEM can be only used on one machine and the retail key can be used on new machine. Usually, you can find Windows 10 product key under the settings page.
