Where do I find Windows 10 Pro product key?

Login the Microsoft account and you will find the associated product key from there. If not, try the Dr.Key app, one of best product key finder tools for Windows 10/11.

If the old PC originally came with Windows 10/8, the Windows key is usually stored in the motherboard’s UEFI, and Windows 10 Pro should auto-activate after reinstalling the same edition.
You can check for an embedded key with PowerShell (Admin):
wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey
- If it shows a key → that’s your OEM key.
- If it’s blank → the machine never had an embedded key.
If the previous Windows was linked to your Microsoft Account, go to:
Settings → Activation → Troubleshoot → “I changed hardware on this device”
and try re-activating.
If you bought the Pro key from someone and it no longer activates, it was likely a non-transferable or volume license, and you won’t be able to recover it.
