When renaming a file, the name cursor is positioned before the file extension

When you select a file and press F2 to enter rename mode, the cursor is positioned by default before the file extension, rather than at the beginning of the file name itself. You have to manually move the cursor to the beginning of the file name to edit the main part of the filename, which isn't very convenient.
