what type of format do I use when creating a usb install disk?
Hi,
A stupid question I am sure but I am in a pickle here. I have build 1709 in a Intel SSD drive. I was updating my Intel toolbox and lost my ability to boot. I thought I would create a new boot USB drive and recover that way. I run 64 bit version of Windows 10 Pro. what format should I use on the UBS to be able to boot from it? Also, what type of file ext should the boot image on the USB be ?
Thanks in advance,
Dan
- Deletedumm do you have the .iso fileof the OS?
iIf yes then use this tool https://rufus.akeo.ie
It will automatically make a bootable drive for you
or if you are using any other way then use FAT32 - Deleted
NTFS is for Windows.
